Brief Description:
Come out to National Harbor
and run 2nd annual Riverfront Revolution
with other runners, walkers,
friends and family! The 10K will
challenge the serious runners, while friends
and family members test their fitness in the
5K or 1-mile events. Both races will be
timed using the ChronoTrack disposable
D-tag
system.

Our Charity
Benefit the Vibrant Health and Wellness Foundation -To address the particular physical health, nutritional, and wellness needs of the traditionally underserved population in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, including social and economic deprived communities, youths, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities
Race Site and Courses
Our race features a scenic, hilly, rolling course which runs through historical sites around Oxon Hill area of Prince Georges County at the crest of the Potomac River and premier National Harbor boundary with a scenic view of the Potomac and overlooking Washington metropolitan landscape. Courses for all the events are being developed and will be certified when completed. See the race Web site for the maps.
Awards
The fastest three men and women overall in both the 5K and 10K will receive awards. The first two men and two women in both races in each of the following age groups will get an award: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
ChronoTrack Timing and Scoring
Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 5K and 10K races. The system uses a computer "tag" which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.
Packet Pick-up and Late Registration
Race packet, t-shirt pick up, and late registration will be on Friday at a time being determined somewhere at the National Harbor.
On race day you may register from 7 to 7:45 am. Please register in advance if you want to avoid the lines.
Picking Up for Your Friends and Relatives
We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for them.
